The following is a transcript of the instructions that came with Talking Bobble Clock, from Giftables by Totes.  Despite the Texas address given for Tandy Brands on the box, the clock itself was made in China.  Apparently, Tandy didn't think it was worth their American employees' time to proofread the instructions.

Functions

  1. Time/Temperature display: Can display Hour Minute and temperature of ambience.
  2. Touch Light, talking current time and temperature at the same time ;
  3. Talking Time of Integer Hour: Can set talking time for every Integer Hour from AM: 7.00 to PM: 9.00.
  4. Talking Time of Set Alarm: Can unseal/close the talking time of set alarm function.

Operation Manual

1.Installing Batteries

Open the battery cover, install two AAA 7 batteries according to the polarity as the positive mark in the battery box.

2.Press key Operation

“D” Key: At normal display, press “ D” key to choose switch for 12/24 Hours.

“MODE” Key: At normal display, press “MODE” key to enter function setting.

“S” Key: At normal display, press “S” key, can choose three kinds of different music, which also has "Di-Di-Di…" and talking time music of “gu-gu-gu…”

"TAL" Key: At normal display, dial"TAL" key, can unseal/close talking time function..

3.Symbol Operation

At normal display “Hour : Minute” , when “ : ” can flash “ (clock icon) ” switch alarm function, when the LCD displays the symbol, the set alarm time arrives, it will talking current time and temperature, and sound out current music ring, talking time will continue one minute, press “ D ” or “ S ” Key to stop the sound. If the LCD without the symbol, alarm is not set.

“ (sound icon) ” talking time for every integer hour, when the LCD displays the symbol, when time to integer, can talking time and temperature. If the LCD without the symbol, talking time and temperature are not set.

“ (bell icon) ” Integer hour Show from AM: 7.00 to PM: 9.00

“ PM ” PM time for 12 hour format.

4.Time setting

At normal display, "TAL" key set in station of "ON",press “ MODE” Key one time to set the current time setting, and then press “ D ” Key to adjust hour, press “S ” Key to adjust minute. After you set, it will return at normal time display if you don't press the Key more than ten seconds.

5.Alarm & Time setting

At normal display, "TAL" key set in station of "ON",press “ MODE” Key two times to set alarm and time setting, and then press “ D” Key to adjust hour, press “S” Key to adjust minute, after you set, it will return at normal time display if you don't press the Key more that ten seconds.

6.Alarm unseal and turnoff setting

At normal display, "TAL" key set in station of "ON",press “ MODE” Key three times, and then press “ (clock icon) ” Key to set alarm function of close or unseal, appear alarm setting symbol at the same time, when the alarm unseal, it will talking the music ring when the alarm time arrive the setting time, talking time will continue one minute, it will talking time for one time when the music talking at last second.

7.Talking Time Of Integer Hour setting

At normal display, "TAL" key set in station of "ON",press “MODE” Key three times, and then press “S” Key to choose talking time for every Integer Hour from AM: 7.00 to PM: 9.00, the upper of the LCD displays the symbol “ (sound icon) ” or “ (bell icon) ”

8.Talking in English. temperature display is “°F” .

Attentions

  1. When the product has been used for a long time and the display becomes faint, please change new batteries of the same size.
  2. If the time is incorrect after change the battery, please adjust it again.
  3. If there was something wrong of the item, repaired by a professional or contact our company.
